Complaints & Abuse Reports
Great Lakes Research Company takes every complaint seriously. This page explains how to raise a complaint about an order, a charge, our materials, this website or its content, and how to report suspected abuse or illegal content. Every complaint is acknowledged within one (1) business day and resolved, with a written outcome, within seven (7) business days of receipt.
1. How to reach us
- Email: support@glrcompounds.com — put Complaint or Abuse Report in the subject line so it is routed immediately.
- Mail: Great Lakes Research Company, Attn: Complaints, 12779 Caribou Ct, Columbia Station, Ohio 44028, United States.
You do not need an account or an order to contact us. Reports may be made anonymously, although we can only send you an outcome if you give us a way to reply.
2. What you can raise
- A problem with an order: missing, damaged, delayed or incorrect items
- A charge you do not recognize, a billing error or a refund that has not arrived
- A concern about the identity, purity or documentation of a material, including a Certificate of Analysis
- Content on this website that you believe is inaccurate, misleading, unlawful or that describes a use we do not permit
- Suspected misuse of our materials, our site or our name by any person, including attempts to purchase for a non-research purpose
- Marketing, email or privacy concerns, including requests to stop contact or to access or delete your data
- The conduct of any member of our team
3. What to include
- Your order number and the email address used at checkout, if the complaint concerns an order
- A clear description of the issue and when it occurred
- The page address (URL) if the complaint concerns website content
- Photos, screenshots or other evidence, where available
- The outcome you are looking for
4. Our timeline
- Acknowledgment: within one (1) business day of receipt, with a reference number.
- Review: a named member of our team investigates and may contact you for further detail.
- Resolution: a written outcome within seven (7) business days of receipt. Where we uphold a complaint we tell you what we have done to put it right.
- If we need longer: we tell you why and give you a firm date. This is rare and never applies to reports of illegal content.
5. Reports of illegal content or abuse
If you believe any content on this website is illegal, or that our site or materials are being misused, report it using the channels above with Abuse Report in the subject line. We review every such report within two (2) business days and take action — including removing or correcting content, blocking an account or order, and notifying the appropriate authorities or payment networks — within seven (7) business days at most. We keep a record of every report and the action taken.
Great Lakes Research Company materials are supplied for in-vitro laboratory research only. We do not knowingly sell to anyone intending human or animal use, and we cancel orders and close accounts where that intent becomes apparent.
6. Charges on your statement
Card payments to Great Lakes Research Company appear on your bank or card statement as GREAT LAKES RESEARCH. If you see a charge you do not recognize, contact us first — we can identify the order and, where appropriate, refund it faster than a dispute through your bank. Refunds and disputes are governed by our Refund, Return & Chargeback Policy.
7. Escalation
If you are not satisfied with the outcome, reply to our decision with Escalate in the subject line. A manager who was not involved in the original review will re-examine the complaint and respond within three (3) business days. You also have the right to contact your card issuer, your state consumer-protection office or any other regulator at any time.
8. Records
We log every complaint and abuse report, the steps taken and the outcome, and retain these records for at least 24 months. Complaint records are used only to resolve the matter, to improve our service and to meet our legal and payment-network obligations. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal data.
